I’m so excited to share that my dear friend Mela I’m so excited to share that my dear friend Melanta is joining me on my Holland ‘Let Love Lead’ retreat this September 26-29! I can’t begin to describe the importance of our friendship for my spiritual journey. She is the one that I know that I can bring any and everything to, all my deepest pain, shame and guilt, and she will always still look on it with love and remind me of the light I truly am. I am so delighted to have her in this retreat for the first time, where she will share her magic of sacred movement sessions. 💃✨️ Just as I use the voice as a tool to connect with deeper layers of ourselves and to shine a light upon suppressed emotions and trauma, Melanta uses physical movement for that same purpose. My head wants to know, wants to be certain. It wan My head wants to know, wants to be certain. It wants guarantees, proof, and security. It wants to avoid pain and rejection and stay within its comfort zone. But my heart wants me to sing and dance and play. She reminds me that I don’t have to know anything. She tells me that where her beat grows louder in joy, that’s where I need to go. She guides me to close my eyes, to become still and listen. She guides me to hold her hand and like a little child, trust wherever she takes me. Sometimes my heart is guiding me to do things that can feel so very far out of my comfort zone. But I notice that the more I follow her voice, the more miraculous my life starts to unfold. I want to keep listening, keep on letting her behind the steering wheel. To reinforce this desire I’ve named my upcoming retreat this September ‘Let Love Lead’. We will come together in a beautiful old farm surrounded by nature, where we will get back in touch with the Voice of our Heart and continuously experience ourselves being led by Love. This Love has never left us and is always available to us. All that is needed is to shine a light upon whatever is blocking us from experiencing full trust and connection to this Love that is guiding us in each and every moment. Through deeply healing Voice Liberation and somatic exercises, we will release whatever patterns, trauma or other blocks are keeping us from truly experiencing that Love is leading us every step of the way. No singing experience is required whatsoever, only the desire to be free. Ask your heart if this is for you.
