We finished recording and mixing my album a few days ago😍🙏🏼🎉 I'm thankful for the whole experience and it was interesting to notice how every song brought up again the emotion that I had when I wrote it, inviting me to go deeper and really shine a light upon things that were ready to be seen and released.

When you mix a song, one of the first things you do is finding the frequencies that are disturbing your voice/music to come through in the way it's intended. These 'disturbing frequencies' are mostly not really hearable, so what you have to do is boost them. The disturbance needs to rise high above the surface level, for you to be able to hear it and know exactly where the problem is. Only then, can you take it out.

I felt this was such a beautiful metaphor for our own journey from fear to Love. When we hand over our relationships, projects and everyday doings to the Spirit, it will all become a backdrop for letting the inner disturbances, our blocks to Love, rise above the surface so that they can be healed.

But I gotta say, it does take courage. We gotta dare to look within. We gotta dare to be vulnerable, dare to step in the unknown and to do and share things that we already know will trigger our deepest fears...

Darkness cannot be healed when it stays in the dark. But it also cannot but be healed when it comes to the surface. 💛
